Jason Schadt, also known as ‘Vandal’, has opened many doors and is looking to explore more, but not in the conventional sense. See, Vandal is a multi talented artist with over 10 years experience and ambitions the size of the world. He is an emcee, producer, video artist and traveller who is set to bring his music and passions together to create something exceptional. Urban Camper Entertainment, formed in 2001, is the brainchild of Jason and the voice of his alter ego. His first CD release (’03), entitled ‘The Nomadic Addict’, is a unique collection of works displaying Vandal’s production and vocals and was created completely independently. Blending world music and Hip Hop together as the sonic bed to Vandal’s rhymes, ‘The nomadic Addict’ is chalk full of tales of travel and his life experiences. It is a refreshing introduction, to say the least. Jason is more than just a musician though. He is an entrepreneur with vision and ambition. Whether it’s producing radio for CBC, or his own music videos, Jason is constantly moving forward with innovation and perseverance. And with the world becoming a much smaller place, Jason is planning to put to use his talents as a video artist, musician and traveller and bring the world ‘Urban Camping’, a complete multimedia package documenting the life of an Urban Camper, displaying his abilities and encapsulating his visions. Through the initiatives of Urban Camper Entertainment, Jason hopes to educate people around the world as well as learn from them, to share common passions and establish a network to allow others to take a bigger step into the world. A step that will also lead to the release of more music and the opening of many more doors.
